- Maintain accurate books of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Record all financial transactions in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in preparation of TDS calculations and returns, and other statutory compliances as per applicable laws.
- Coordinate with the inventory and production team to ensure proper valuation and recording of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Perform periodic stock audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Monitor and reconcile vendor and customer accounts, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve disputes.
- Prepare ageing analysis reports for management review.
- Handle daily banking operations including payments, receipts, and fund transfers.
- Liaise with banks for transaction processing, loan documentation, and fund flow monitoring.
- Generate monthly MIS reports including sales, purchase, expenses, and profitability statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare audit schedules and support internal/external auditors during audits.
- Ensure implementation of audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with the production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, maintain proper documentation for inspections or government filings.
