- Enter and track all book ordersfrom schools, bookstores, and distributorsthrough your system to delivery.
- Liaise with warehouse/logistics to ensure timely dispatch and resolve any stock issues.
- Collect, consolidate, and analyze monthly sales data. Prepare reports on trends, regional performance, and bestselling titles.
- Present findings to the Sales Manager to inform strategy and quotas.
- Assist in creating engaging sales presentations, proposals, and sell-sheets for potential and existing clients.
- Help prepare materials for trade shows, school outreach, or promotional events.
- Act as the primary contact for client querieson pricing, availability, delivery timelines, etc.
- Follow up post-order to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities (supplementary materials, new editions).
- Schedule and coordinate meetings for the Sales Team, prepare agendas, and capture minutes.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Editorial, Finance, and Logistics to sync on promotions, pricing, and delivery.
- Ensure customer and title metadata (editions, ISBNs, formats, pricing) are accurately entered and routinely updated in the CRM or publication system
- Organize logistics and materials for book launches, author signings, trade shows, school events, or expos.
- Handle the sample copy programtracking requests, dispatching samples to educators or bookstores.
- Manage after-sales issuesreturns, delays, damaged shipments. Ensure timely resolution in coordination with operations.
- Address client complaints professionally to maintain relationships.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements in sales workflows, materials, or coordination methods.
