- Seek out new business opportunities in engineering services and construction machinery sectors through research, referrals, and cold outreach
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with contractors, project developers, and equipment rental firms to drive repeat business
- Demonstrate equipment capabilities and technical benefitseither on-site or through virtual presentationsto showcase tailored value
- Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to craft commercial and technical proposals, ensuring solutions align with customer requirements .
- Negotiate terms, finalize sales agreements, and ensure deals are closed efficientlymeeting or exceeding set revenue targets
- Oversee smooth equipment delivery, provide technical support as required, and manage issue resolution to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain ongoing communications with key clients, explore upsell opportunities (e.g. spare parts, maintenance services), and sustain account growth
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts; develop strategic territory plans to align with business goals
- Track pipeline and deal status in CRM systems; generate sales analytics and periodic reports for senior management review
- Work closely with engineering, service, finance, and operations teams to align on product specs, pricing, delivery schedules, and post-sales support
- Monitor trends and competitors in engineering services and machinery to sharpen sales strategies and maintain competitive advantage
- Employ a consultative approach by understanding client challenges and recommending tailored combinations of machinery, services, and support .
- Manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholderslike project engineers and procurement headsto close large-value contracts
- Participate in industry expos and seminars to promote HD Engineerings capabilities and generate new leads
