- Accurately enter client and financial data into relevant tax management software and maintain organized digital and physical records.
- Maintain and update client profiles, including tax history, communication logs, and compliance documents.
- Assist in preparing and organizing documentation for tax returns, GST filings, TDS returns, and other statutory compliance.
- Liaise with the front office and clients to obtain necessary documents and follow up on pending information.
- Prepare internal reports, summaries, and updates on client accounts and deadlines to assist consultants and senior management.
- Manage incoming/outgoing emails related to client queries, documentation, and statutory reminders.
- Handle sensitive client information with the utmost confidentiality and ensure secure record-keeping practices.
- Operate and update entries in tax consultancy software (e.g., Tally, ClearTax, Zoho Books, etc.) as per company processes.
- Keep track of filing deadlines and assist in timely submission of statutory returns and reports.
- Provide documentation and clerical assistance during client audits or internal reviews.
