- Lead and manage the sales operations of the branch, focusing on achieving sales targets for custom clearance services and related logistics solutions.
- Set performance goals for the sales team and monitor their performance through KPIs and weekly reviews.
- Identify new business opportunities in import/export sectors, logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management.
- Develop strategies to expand the client base and penetrate new markets or trade routes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and CHA partners.
- Ensure exceptional customer service, handling escalations and resolving client issues promptly.
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to adapt offerings and approach accordingly.
- Promote a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Liaise closely with customs brokers, documentation teams, and freight operators to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate between clients and operations to guarantee timely clearance and cargo movement.
- Drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability and cost control at the branch level.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgeting, and profitability reports.
- Stay updated with the latest customs rules, GST norms, EXIM policies, and regulatory changes affecting the trade sector.
- Ensure the branch adheres to all legal and compliance-related requirements.
- Generate detailed sales reports, client activity logs, and branch performance metrics for senior management review.
