- Partner with senior management to forecast workforce requirements and succession planning for both corporate and field operations.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes for technical, operational, and managerial roles across mining sites and corporate offices.
- Build relationships with universities, trade schools, and professional bodies to attract skilled mining and engineering talent.
- Foster a positive and compliant work culture across all project sites.
- Manage grievance handling, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in line with company policy and labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international labor regulations relevant to mining operations.
- Maintain updated knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations impacting employment practices.
- Implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate and enhance employee productivity.
- Identify training needs and coordinate technical, safety, and leadership development programs for staff.
- Design and manage competitive compensation structures, incentive schemes, and benefits tailored for remote mining site employees.
- Conduct regular market benchmarking and salary reviews.
- Support employee well-being initiatives and occupational health programs.
- Formulate, review, and update HR policies to reflect industry best practices and organizational values.
- Ensure effective communication and enforcement of HR policies across all departments. Maintain accurate HR records, analytics, and reports for management review.
- Utilize HR software systems to track employee performance, attendance, and compliance metrics.
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to support CSR initiatives related to employment and workforce development in mining areas.
