- Patient Consultation and Guidance: Provide initial consultation and guidance to couples or individuals seeking IVF treatment, explaining the process, success rates, and available options.
- Managing IVF Procedures: Oversee the IVF treatment process from start to finish, including coordinating the scheduling of necessary tests, treatments, and appointments with doctors, lab technicians, and nursing staff.
- Scheduling Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments for consultations, diagnostic tests, ultrasounds, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and follow-ups, ensuring seamless scheduling within the IVF department.
- Patient Education: Educate patients about the IVF process, the necessary lifestyle changes, potential risks, and post-treatment care to ensure they are well-prepared and informed.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records of patient medical histories, treatments, lab results, and progress throughout their IVF journey.
- Insurance Verification and Financial Counseling: Assist patients in understanding the insurance coverage for IVF procedures, verifying insurance details, and providing information on out-of-pocket costs. Guide patients through financing options if needed.
- Emotional Support: Provide empathetic support to patients throughout their IVF journey, addressing their concerns, emotional well-being, and referring them to counseling services or support groups if necessary.
- Liaise with Medical Team: Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team, including fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, and lab staff, ensuring clear communication and coordination for optimal patient care.
- Monitoring Treatment Progress: Track and monitor the patient’s progress throughout their IVF cycle, including hormone treatments, egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and pregnancy tests, ensuring the patient is following the prescribed treatment plan.
