- Key Responsibilities:
1. Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals: As a medical representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals in your assigned territory. This involves regular visits and effective communication to promote pharmaceutical products.
2. Promote pharmaceutical products: You will be expected to promote and market the company's pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. This includes providing detailed information about the products, their benefits, and potential side effects.
3. Conduct product presentations: Conduct product presentations to educate healthcare professionals about the features and benefits of the pharmaceutical products. This requires excellent presentation skills and in-depth knowledge of the products.
4. Achieve sales targets: As a medical representative, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and increasing the company's revenue. This requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to persuade healthcare professionals to prescribe or recommend the products.
- Required Skills and Expectations:
1. B.Pharma or M.Pharma qualification: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy is essential for this role to have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical products and their use.
2. Pharma marketing and sales experience: A minimum of 2-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and sales is required to excel in this role and effectively promote the company's products.
3. Presentation skills: Strong presentation skills are essential to effectively communicate product information to healthcare professionals and persuade them to prescribe or recommend the products.
4. Territory management: Ability to effectively manage and cover a designated territory to reach out to healthcare professionals and achieve sales targets.
5. Outbound sales experience: Experience in outbound sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, is preferred for this role to successfully promote and sell pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.
