-Check and verify the quality parameters of raw plastics, resins, masterbatches, colourants, additives, etc., as they arrive (conforming to internal specifications, ISO standards).
-Inspect incoming packaging components (caps, closures, jars, bottles) for dimensional accuracy, material integrity, surface defects, colour consistency, etc.
-Maintain records of material certificates (COAs), lab test reports, lot numbers, supplier performance data.
Supervise production stages (injection moulding, blow moulding, extrusion, finishing operations) to ensure process parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, cooling time, dimensional tolerances) are maintained.
-Prepare/issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejects and coordinate the segregation of defectives.
-Use the in-house Quality Control Laboratory to perform tests such as melt flow index, gloss meter, micrometer, vernier caliper, weight measurement, height gauge, etc.
