- Ensure compliance with relevant FMCG regulations, including FSSAI guidelines, ISO standards, HACCP, GMP, and local quality laws.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems (QMS) to ensure consistent product quality.
- Establish SOPs for manufacturing, packaging, storage, and distribution.
- Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external audits conducted by regulatory bodies or certification agencies.
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and processes to identify gaps and enforce corrective measures.
- Investigate deviations, quality failures, and customer complaints to identify root causes.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- Manage and mentor the QA/QC team, ensuring competency and compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct training programs for production and warehouse teams on hygiene, safety, and quality protocols.
- Evaluate, approve, and monitor raw material suppliers to ensure they meet PRO-TO-GROWs quality standards.
- Coordinate supplier audits and maintain documentation related to material quality.
- Oversee laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation, including batch records, inspection reports, and COAs.
- Ensure products are safe for consumption by conducting risk assessments and enforcing hygiene and safety standards.
- Manage product recalls when required and ensure corrective actions are documented and executed.
- Work closely with production, R&D, procurement, marketing, and logistics teams to maintain quality across the supply chain.
- Support new product development by providing quality inputs and ensuring compliance before launch.
