- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive the growth of construction equipment sales, rental, and service offerings.
- Lead and motivate the sales team, setting clear goals and performance targets to achieve sales objectives.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to sales representatives to enhance their skills and ensure they meet individual and team sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including contractors, project managers, and business owners, to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Manage customer inquiries, issues, and concerns effectively, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for equipment sales, rentals, and services.
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies or tactics as needed to meet goals.
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Stay up to date on the features, specifications, and benefits of the company€™s construction equipment offerings, including machinery, tools, and related services.
- Provide technical expertise to clients, offering in-depth product knowledge to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Develop and present pricing proposals, negotiating contracts and terms with clients to maximize revenue while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction industry, expanding the customer base and market reach.
- Conduct product presentations, equipment demonstrations, and site visits for prospective clients to showcase the company€™s equipment and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the operations, service, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and support for customers.
- Manage the sales budget, allocating resources for marketing, travel, and other sales-related expenses.
