- Greet guests upon arrival, assist with check-in, and ensure smooth check-out processes, handling all necessary documentation.
- Assist with reservations over the phone, email, and in-person. Ensure the reservation system is updated and accurate.
- Address guest inquiries and provide information regarding hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Listen to guest concerns and complaints, and escalate issues to senior staff when needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Answer incoming calls, transfer calls to the appropriate department, and take messages for staff or guests.
- Handle payments, process billing, and manage transactions accurately, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure that guests needs are met.
- Keep the front desk area tidy and organized, ensuring all materials like brochures, maps, and forms are stocked.
- Assist with special requests such as arranging transport, room service, or restaurant reservations.
- Monitor the hotels security, ensuring that only authorized individuals access guest areas. Follow safety procedures for emergencies.
- Promote hotel services and facilities to guests, such as restaurants, spas, events, and excursions.
- Maintain accurate guest records and assist with administrative duties like filing and documentation.
- Assist in upselling rooms, packages, and other services to guests, improving overall revenue for the hotel.
